In Commemoration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities

December 3 is the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. Greeting this day, an event was held in the Central Youth Hall in Pyongyang, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, under the auspices of the Korea Federation for the Protection of the Disabled.

At the event in commemoration of the day a video presentation was screened, which shows the successes the country has achieved in 2023 in the effort to protect the disabled persons, before a performance was given by the art group of the Korea Art Association of Persons with Disabilities. Enjoying performance, the audiences were deeply impressed to see the cheerful and lively images of the disabled persons who are bringing their talents into full bloom, thanks to the policies of the Workers’ Party of Korea and the DPRK government.

Also participated there were foreign diplomats and staff member of foreign embassies in Pyongyang.
