The 7^th session of Sub-Committee on Human element, Training and Watchkeeping was held remotely from 15 to 19 Feb 2021.

The session was attended by representatives from Member States including DPR Korea and from international organizations.

The Sub-Committee, in the session, considered several agenda items including comprehensive review of the 1995 STCW-F Convention; development of amendments to the STCW Convention and Code for the use of electronic certificates and documents of seafarers; and measures to address challenges posed by COVID-19 pandemic, etc.

Given the session being held remotely, some of the agenda items were deferred to the next session.
